Access Gateway

A network connectivity application
that enables full function database access from FlexiStation and client
applications at one location to a remote FlexiSearch database. This
gateway provides call center operators with robust search capabilities
to database facilities maintained by independent content aggregators.

Management Facility (CDMF)
|
|
A comprehensive listing management
application built with relational database technology. The easy-to-use
graphical user interface supports manual editing of data and the
creation of customized business rules to optimize directory data for
efficient retrieval.

| Directory Listing Collector Program (DLCP) |
|
A data repository designed to collect
a full range of statistical usage-based data. Supporting flexible
record formats and an open interface for data access, the DLCP serves
as a central statistic repository. Typical uses include tracking
cross-company data requests and premium listing usage.

| Intelligent Audio Subsystem (IAS) |
|
A robust voice application built upon
the IBM WebSphere Voice Response platform. IAS integrates fully with
FlexiStation and automation applications to deliver greetings and
listing information to the caller. Information can range from a simple
telephone number to multiple listing fields. The caller can interact
with the system through voice-based commands for configurable call
control tasks such as call completion or reconnection with an operator.

| International Directory Gateways (IDG) |

A versatile application that enables
outbound access to foreign directory assistance database systems, and
enables inbound access from foreign directory assistance providers to
locally hosted data stored in a FlexiQ database. The gateways support
the International Telecommunications Union Technical Sector (ITU-T)
E.115/IP standard, maintained by the Association for the European
Interworking of Directory Inquiry Services (EIDQ).

A TCP/IP-based interface that allows
custom client applications to access the FlexiSearch database.
|
|
| Maintenance Administration Program (MAP) |
| An operator
management application that supports the definition of operators, their
organizational structure, and the data access privileges of each
operator. For example, certain operators may be given base privileges
to access directory data while team leaders and supervisors may be
given access to more expansive search capabilities and the ability to
view secure listings. |

| Transport (TPORT) |
|
A network application pervasive across
the FlexiQ platform that ensures robust client/server message routing
and delivery.
|
|
| TPORT Gateway |
|
A network application that maps
addresses and services between data centers and operator centers, and
ensures high availability, especially during failover. Client/server
transactions within the FlexiQ network are efficiently multiplexed
through the TPORT Gateway, offloading wide area connection resources
from the servers.

| Web Access to Listing Information (WALI) |
| A
consumer-oriented application that provides access to FlexiQ directory
databases over the Internet using standard web browsers. The
configurable user interfaces support a wide range of service
possibilities from standard directory assistance to enhanced
information and specialized custom services. |
