(ISx), today announced that it has teamed
with Nuance (NASDAQ: NUAN), the global leader
in software for a voice-driven world, and joined
the Nuance Partner Alliance. ISx has integrated
Nuance speech recognition and voice authentication
software into the ISx Automated Operator Assistance
Platform that automates the handling of directory
assistance calls. The solution will be marketed
to directory assistance (DA) service providers
worldwide.
By integrating Nuance software into its DA platform,
ISx will give customers streamlined, one-stop
shopping for state-of-the-art automation solutions.
Automated call handling reduces operating costs
for directory assistance providers, and frees
call center agents for handling enhanced service
inquiries that generate new revenue.
